"He has got it all figured out, the luck thing." "All of those old superstitions were true and now he's going to be rich because of them!" THAT'S THE WAY THE LUCK RUNS A fictional story written by Terry Prong Sleep was broken suddenly by a big, load dog, barking some where in the immediate nationhood. The first blurry eyed attempt at awakening was cut short by a large build up of dried sleep in the corner of his one eye keeping it from opening. Then a sharp brilliance burst through the window pane creating a prism of light beams that sparkled in his face. With a quick rub the dried stuff was gone and the morning poured through. The first thing he did was check his position in bed. He slept best with his head to the north and his feet to the south. And that he was getting out of the same side of the bed as he got in. Superstition? We may want to ask how he could have gotten so superstitious in the first place? It happened over a long period of time and began when he was a little boy. He used to sneak off to go see the town's self proclaimed physic Madam Rue. There he was taught an awareness of the power of , LUCK! Yes luck, as if they were points that could be built up and used later. Or that there would be some type of formula or ritual for good luck or bad luck. Or that the odds 50/50 can be greatly influenced through the power of 'LUCK' The old woman taught him of the many pitfalls that keep the average person from collecting any 'LUCK'. She also taught him how to measure his luck and use it. How to avoid 'Bad Luck Points', and how to transfer bad luck to some one else. He learned all about religious charms and their powers along with the occults and Egyptian superstitions. The old gypsy woman was very smart maybe to smart for his own good. But one thing was sure, he had seen the power work! Only on a small scale, but non the less he beat the odds!
